Welcome to Pai. 擺鎮
Pai is a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, located about 50-80km north of Chaiang Mai. It is part of the Mae Hong Son Loop, which is Rte 1095 from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son. The city is named after the Pai River.
I like the atmosphere here. It's quiet and relaxing. You can see backpackers everywhere, and also many Western Hippies.
After I got my hair tressed, I went around Pai with motorbike.
Pai Post Office.
The Yellow House.
It's a famous spot because of the movie《Pai in Love》.
Coffee in Love.
It's one of the most beautiful scenes and most famous coffee shop in PAI. You can order some food and coffee, sit there, write some postcards and enjoy your time.
The decorations are romantic and beautiful.
With motorbike, on my way to Memorial Bridge.
Here I am.
Memorial Bridge is located 8-9km away from Pai. The bridge was built by Japanese soldiers during WWII.
I arrived there around sunset, there were only few people. It was so quiet and peaceful with only myself walking on the bridge.
At night, Me and Zoe went to a breakfast bar on street for dinner. We had super juicy and delicious beef burgers.
It was Saturday night. We didn't want to go back to our place that early. So we went to a bar where the local recommended us.
It's a bar right next to the rive. We sat there for a while, ZOE started to chat on her phone and we didn't talk. Then, she disappeared, went home without saying anything. I was worried but I quickly met some friends who were sitting next to my table.
We talked and played pool together. They invited me to join them to the Lod Cave tomorrow morning. Of course I said YES. I was happy and didn't know that I would make any friends just within few hours.
After everyone's gone, we drank another bucket and started to take pictures.
Gonzo, Federico and me.
Here is where I met these cute fellows who made my holidays in PAI amazing, and gave me shit loads of unforgettable memories.
Looks like a good time. I've heard loads about Pai and that I should visit. :)
