"Quietude, which some men cannot abide because it reveals their inward poverty, is as a palace of cedar to the wise, for along its hallowed courts the King in his beauty deigns to walk." —Charles H. Spurgeon
It was a sunny day. Cyp and I went to visit the must-see sight in Bangkok—the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace. The weather was way too sunny and nice! We were so lucky!
p.s. You can find the information about the Grand Palace online easily. So in the article, I posted mostly pictures and few sentences only. Hope y'all like it!
I didn't use a wide angle lens to take this picture, but just realized it looked so beautiful when I was editing the photos.
"FOREIGNER THIS WAY PLEASE" means we want your money!

There's a booth just next to the entry where you can rent clothes to cover up properly. You must pay 200 Baht deposit for each cloth.
How much?
The ticket to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Central Court of the Grand Palace is 500 Baht.

It was full of CHINESE TOURISTS! We couldn't even take a picture without a tourist inside. But the Grand Palace was truly spectacular.
Within the palace there are several impressive buildings including Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which includes the small, famous revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century.
Pictures below are some paintings on the wall in the temple.
That's all, it's pretty huge and there are many parts inside the palace. However, it was way too crowded for us, even we visited on Monday. We took some pictures, went around the palace then decided to go home.
Without doubt, the design of temples is definitely magnificent, its beautiful architecture and intricate detail as well. If there were less people, we would've enjoyed it more.
Anyway, We had a fun day hang out together! Ciao.
I love the Grand Palace!
