Tasty times in Tainan

I had a great time driving around, wandering in the old street and eating a lot of food in Tainan.

The Premier Academy of Taiwan (Tainan Confucius Temple)
全臺首學——台南孔子廟

The Confucius Temple was built in 1666 in Tainan, Taiwan. It was the first Confucius Temple, and also one of the most famous historic temples. It was the location of the highest official institute of high learning in Taiwan.

After seeing the temple, we walked around and checked out the old street.

People write their wishes on a wooden card and hang it on the tree.

Wooden made pencils with different animals on it.

$2 for a tempura!

It says "Open when we wake up, closed when we're tired." Interesting! :D

I found this hidden ice cream shop in the street! We ordered two different flavors, the Whiskey and the salt one. They were both tasty!!!!!

This is the ice cream with cookie in it.

Tom and Brian.
Guess what's this?
It's a pot!

Selina.

It says, "Hey tourists, stop taking photos, come in and have a drink!"

At the end of the street, we saw this abandoned house with tree growing in it.  We walked inside and took a look. It was quiet and scary ,just like those kind of houses will be used in horror movie. But yeah, it was super cool!

It looks like he is peeing! :D

The 2nd floor of the house.

Around 6pm after seeing the city, we decided to go to the beach. It was windy but nice.

I only took few pictures at the beach because the sun was already gone and light wasn't that good. We stood on the sand and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery for a while.

One the way back, we were all starving. We bought lamb soup, noodles, rice and shrimp rolls and ate it in the hotel.
Even though it was a short day trip in Tainan, I still had a lot of fun and got to see this beautiful historical city with these folks. Thanks Selina for picking me up and also driving me back to the train station. Hope to see you guys soon! :D
