Cambodia ➞ ➞ ➞ ➞ Taiwan
Two aussies in Taiwan! So this is the story :
I met Matt (pink t-shirt) in Cambodia. One day he was on Skype talking with his parents, I was there listening, too. His dad, Mark (black t-shirt) offered him a trip together to Singapore. They've already been there, so I suggested "You guys can come to Taiwan then!". His dad said "Sure, why not!" without thinking. :D
That's why they are here!
Day 1 07.15.2014
It was Tuesday afternoon. I finally met Matt and his dad. We decided to go to Taipei 101 first.
It was Tuesday afternoon. I finally met Matt and his dad. We decided to go to Taipei 101 first.
This is my first time went up to the 101 observatory.
So we went up to the 89th and 91st floor to check out the view of Taipei.
We probably had spent 1-2 hours looking down the city from the north to the south and from the west to the east, and searching for interesting objects from above. It was amazing.
After spending time at the 101, three of us were starving. We went to Xi Men Ding 西門町 to get some food. We've tried many kinds of Taiwanese street food such as pork puff, flaky scallion pancake, braised pork rice, oyster omelet...... and they really liked it!
Matt with hot-star large fried chicken.
Banana and chocolate shaved ice.
Before we eat the ice cream, let me take a selfie!
We wanted to get some beer but couldn't find bars around Xi Men area. After walking around the city for a while, we decided to take MRT to ZhongXiao Fuxing 忠孝復興.
There are heaps of Japanese Sake bars around this area. We found this bar 無雙. Orion buy one get one free during 9-10pm and it was 8:55pm!

They have many kinds of tasty beers like Elysian, Brewdog...... The beer was so good. We kept ordering it!
Day 3 07.17.2014 Time to say goodbye!
After a while, we went to 7-11 to have ice cream and drinks. It was a short morning because I had to get my ass on the bus at 4 o'clock to Dongshi.
Jamie and the Orions!
We didn't plan to order any food because we just had dinner. The people who were sitting next to us, they ordered lots of food and all looked soooo delicious. So we had a tasty grilled beef and another grilled pork! :D

These three days has been awesome and fun. It was really fun hanging out in Taipei and laughing with you guys all the time. I'm glad that you and your daddy have came to Taiwan and I hope I was being a good tour guide. :D Hope to see you and your daddy again someday. Ciao!
And, thank you Trista for hosting me. You're an extremely nice and fun girl. Although it's actually our first time met in person, I felt like we've already known each other for a long time. It's a shame that we live in different cities. I hope I'll see you again in Taipei or Kaohsiung soon!! It'd be super fun to spend more time and party with you. Love you my girl.
Goodbye Taipei.
